Prof. Junwen Zhang
China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing)
Introduction :
Junwen Zhang, male, doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor. He is mainly engaged in the teaching and scientific research of mining engineering and serves as the deputy director of the Engineering Research Center of the Coal Industry for Roadway Support and Disaster Prevention, the deputy director of the Standardization Working Committee of the China Green Alliance, and the deputy director of the Professional Committee of Coal Mine System Engineering of the China Coal Society. In addition, he is a member of the Mining Rock Mechanics Branch of the National Society of Rock Mechanics Engineering, a member of the Youth Expert Academic Committee of Coal Science and Technology, a member of the Power Disaster Early Warning and Prevention Expert Committee of the Coal Industry Technical Committee and a young and middle-aged editorial board member of International Journal of IJMST and Journal of Coal. He has won the Green Mine Outstanding Contribution Award and the Coal Youth Science and Technology Award. He published more than 60 papers included in SCI/EI, presided over more than 10 key programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He won more than 10 first prizes of the Ministry of Education for Scientific and Technological Progress, and published 6 textbooks and academic monographs.
Prof. Xin Ren, Deputy dean
Nanjing Tech University
Introduction :
Dr. Xin Ren is a Full Professor at the Centre of Innovative Structures, Deputy Director of the Department of Intelligent Construction and Management, College of Civil Engineering, Nanjing Tech University. He graduated with a Ph.D. from RMIT University, Australia in 2017. He is Vebleo Fellow; Winner of Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund in China; Excellent young teacher of "Qing Lan Project" in Jiangsu Province; Top-notch talents of middle-aged and young people in Nanjing. Member of the International Negative Poisson's Ratio Materials and Structure Academic Committee (the only one in mainland China); Member of the Royal Society of Victoria, Australia; Reviewer of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; Member of the Youth Working Committee of the Jiangsu Mechanics Society; Vice president of the Young Teachers Association of Nanjing Tech University. Published more than 50 journal papers, including four "ESI Highly Cited" papers, with a total cited number of more than 1,850 times (Google Scholar: H-index is 21). Acted as Editorial Board or Youth Editorial Board for the following international journals: Defence Technology (JCR-Q1); Mechanics of Advanced Materials and Structures (JCR-Q2); Chinese Journal of Applied Mechanics. Acted as Guest Editor for the following international journals: Engineering Structures (JCR-Q1), Buildings (JCR-Q1) and Applied Sciences (JCR-Q2). Mainly engaged in the research of structural engineering, new materials and new structures, mechanical metamaterials, composite materials, etc.

Prof. Mohamed A. Ismail
Miami College of Henan University
Introduction:
Prof. Ismail is currently working as a full professor at Dept. of Civil Engineering, Miami College of Henan University, Kaifeng, China since October 2018. He is also an adjunct professor at School of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Science, Curtin University, Bentley, Australia. Before joining Miami College, Prof. Ismail was working as an Associate Professor at Civil and Construction Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering and Science, Curtin University Malaysia, Sarawak, Malaysia. He received his B. Sc. and M. Sc. Degrees from Alexandria University, Egypt in 1991 and 1996, respectively and his PhD from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2003. Prof. Ismail teaches undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering Materials, Concrete Technology, Engineering Mechanics, Reinforced Concrete Structural Design, Engineering and Environmental Principles and Theories, Construction Management, Concrete Laboratory, Mechanics of Solids, Structural Analysis and Fluid mechanics. For graduate students, he teaches courses in Advanced Concrete Technology and Advanced Structural Analysis. His research work includes Concrete Technology, Smart Materials in Construction, High Performance Concrete, Durability of Concrete, NDT, Arc Thermal Metal Spray Technology, Sustainable Building Materials and Protection Methods of Reinforced Concrete Structures. Prof. Ismail has extensive teaching and research experiences over 25 years in Canada, South Korea, Malaysia, Egypt, Japan and China. He also had broad experience at Engineering Consultancies and Oil & Gas Firms. Prof. Ismail has published more than 120 papers in referred Journals and International Conferences and 6 Books. He served as a reviewer for many International Journals, Editorial Board Member of few journals and Editor-in-chief of Challenge Journal of Concrete Research Letters (CJCRL). He is a member of ASCE and EES and a Professional Engineer of APEGA-Canada.

Introduction:
Engaged in the research of tunnel engineering, subway engineering, underground engineering support, numerical simulation model calculation method development and theory, geotechnical multi-field multi-phase coupling, engineering toughness support mechanism, engineering testing and so on. Rich in scientific research and practical experience in urban underground space development, rock mass engineering, mountain tunnels, large cross-sea tunnels, etc.
